Teal Wicks
Teal Wicks is best known for her critically acclaimed performance as Elphaba in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Broadway companies of Wicked. She was last seen making her TV debut on an episode of The Good Wife. Wicks recently re-created the role of Maria in the new Off-Broadway musical The Blue Flower, which received Off-Broadway Alliance and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for Best New Musical. Wicks has also been seen onstage in New York in City Center Encores! Stairway to Paradise with Kristin Chenoweth, the United States premiere of Godlight Theatre Company’s Fahrenheit 451, and the premiere of Lance Horne’s musical The $trip. Regionally Wicks has been seen in The Blue Flower at A.R.T. where she was nominated for an IRNE and Elliot Norton Award for her performance, Catherine in the National Tour Pippin, and various productions at the Goodspeed Opera House and Bay Street Theatre. Wicks is a native of California and serves on the Advisory Board for the California State Summer School for the Arts. She was recently conferred the honor of Distinguished Alumna of the University of California Irvine Claire Trevor School of the Arts where she received a BA in Drama with an Honors in Musical Theatre.
