Steve Liddell
Science Communicator
Steven Liddell is a passionate science educator who has a remarkable ability to communicate science to people of all ages. As a high school science and math teacher, Liddell created a student-centered learning approach now taught through “Street Science” that engages and inspires kids to foster a love of learning. He has produced science shows that have headlined Australia’s largest science festivals including Sydney Science Festival, National Science Week events, and Science Alive! He has also presented internationally in the USA, China, and New Zealand, sharing the stage with some of the world’s best science communicators and researchers. Liddell’s science communication team impacts well over 150,000 people each year and inspires students to study science through their senior years and on to university. Liddell also sits on the Science and Engineering Academic Board at the Queensland University of Technology.
