Marc Huo
A student of Jericho High School, Marc Huo is an aspiring scientist who has conducted research on nanotechnology, won 1st Place in Cell and Molecular Biology at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), was named a Regeneron Scholar, and co-authored a paper that was published in Advanced Materials. His research is centered around encapsulating modern genetic therapeutics in potent yet nontoxic pH-sensitive nanovehicles to treat brain cancer. Huo has strong interests in animal welfare, spearheading multiple community initiatives through the Boy Scouts for the mental and physical well-being of local homeless animals. He will be majoring in Biology at Stanford University in the fall of 2018 and will be pursuing his dream of postdoctoral research.
