Jacob S. Sherkow

Jacob S. Sherkow is an associate professor of Law at the Innovation Center for Law and Technology at New York Law School, where he teaches a variety of courses related to intellectual property. His research focuses on how scientific developments affect patent law and litigation. Sherkow is the author of over a dozen articles on these and related topics in both traditional law reviews and scientific journals, including Nature, Science, and the Yale Law Journal. Prior to academia, he was a patent litigator at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, a federal law clerk, and research scientist.
