Eryn Murman
Eryn Murman, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, is a New York City-based actress, singer, and songwriter. She appeared on Broadway in Spring Awakening where she performed all the female roles and worked under JoAnn Hunter’s guidance as the dance captain for the production. Other acting credits include the role of Iphigenia in an adaptation of Euripides’ Ancient Greek Tragedy, Iphigenia at Aulis, in Toronto at the Factory Theatre; Gravity Radio at BAM; and the lead role, Wendla, in San Jose Repertory’s production of Spring Awakening, also working as the dance captain to Sonya Tayeh’s choreography. Murman enjoyed creating and choreographing her own piece, Caught in the Threshold as well as work-shopping new musicals such as, Pregnancy Pact, at Yale University directed by Mark Brokaw. She is a graduate of Sheridan Institute in Ontario, Canada where she studied Music Theatre Performance. Murman’s most recent discovery and passion involves writing music and performing with her band, 5j Barrow.
