Annabelle Selldorf is principal of Selldorf Architects, a 65-person architectural design practice founded in New York City in 1988. The firm creates public and private spaces that manifest a clear and modern sensibility to enduring impact. Giving form to the needs and desires of clients and communities, the architectural solutions emerge equal parts purpose and poetry. Institutional and cultural clients include Brown University, New York University, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, The Clark Art Institute, and Neue Galerie New York. The firm recently completed Sunset Park Material Recovery Facility, the largest facility of its kind in the US. In addition, the firm has created galleries for David Zwirner, Hauser & Wirth and Gladstone among others, and designed exhibitions for the Whitney Museum, Frieze Masters, and Venice Art Biennale. Selldorf is a member of the board of the Architectural League of New York and the Chinati Foundation.
