One of the more drastic effects of climate change is rising sea levels, which are threatening isolated island nations and cosmopolitan tourist destinations alike. But there’s an interesting chemical twist to the rising waters problem—it isn’t just melting glaciers swelling the seas. Cartoonist Andy Warner explores the complex relationship between climate change and sea level rise in this comic, a joint effort between the illustrated journalism magazine Symbolia and the Showtime original documentary series The Years of Living Dangerously:
