Jared Lamenzo
Jared Lamenzo is the founder of Mediated Spaces, Inc., an award-winning development lab that uses mobile technology to spur citizen science. He also founded the WildLab, a program that facilitates data collection about the environment and enhances STEM education; it was a winner of the MacArthur Digital Media and Learning Competition. Currently, Lamenzo’s interactive location-based app, OpenPath.me, is being piloted at museums around the country. His award-winning installations and sound work explore the relationship between science and life, technology, and aesthetics. He is a graduate of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunication Program and studied Engineering and Applied Science at Harvard University.
