About This Video

The World Science Festival is a nonprofit organization that brings together preeminent figures from science, industry, academia, and the arts for a series of live events that engage and inspire the public. In what the New York Times calls “a new cultural institution,” its flagship Festival, held annually in New York City, has featured thought leaders and creative minds such as Stephen Hawking, E.O Wilson, Oliver Sacks, John Holdren, Luciano Floridi, Frank Wilczek, Charlie Kaufman, Jill Tarter, Marvin Minsky, Yo-Yo Ma, Chuck Close, Janna Levin, John Mather, Francis Collins, Sir Paul Nurse, and many others.
