Strip away the trimmings of a traditional science presentation, add cocktails, and you have WSF Spotlight. Priyamvada Natarajan always wanted to be an explorer, and she knew that in order to navigate properly, one must have an accurate star map. As a cosmologist, she specializes in detecting invisible masses of dark matter based on what we see here on Earth. These “gravitational lenses” have both puzzled and intrigued scientists since Einstein first predicted their appearance.
