About This Video

The lovely Escher String Quartet enhanced the World Science Festival program Hidden Dimensions with a rendition of Beethoven’s Grosse Fuge (“Great Fugue”). Appropriately, this fugue is distinctively four-dimensional in its arrangement, instead of consisting primarily of melody and harmony. Listen to the Quartet’s recital of this famously introspective work.
