Santino Fontana

Santino Fontana was raised on the west coast, went to school in the Midwest, and currently lives in New York. After graduating from the Guthrie Theater/University of Minnesota’s Actor Training Program he played the title role in Hamlet at the Guthrie at 23. His New York credits include Sons of the Prophet (Lortel Award, Obie Award, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Nominations), Importance of Being Ernest (Clarence Derwent Award), Brighton Beach Memoirs (Drama Desk Award – Featured Actor), Billy Elliot, Sunday in the Park with George, The Fantasticks, and Perfect Harmony. Television credits include the The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, A Gifted Man, Royal Pains, and Made in Jersey. Nancy, Please, his feature film debut, just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. And he will be appearing in the upcoming Jack Ryan, with Kenneth Branagh and Chris Pine. Fontana also won “Best Vocalist” at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival while still in high school. Fontana can currently be seen as Prince Charming on Broadway in the upcoming Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
