Lila Davachi
Lila Davachi is Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience and the Director of the Center for Learning, Memory and Emotion at New York University. She received her Ph.D. from Yale University and conducted post-doctoral work at MIT. Her research is focused on understanding fundamental mechanisms of memory formation, consolidation, and retrieval using convergent methodologies from cognitive neuroscience, including behavior and fMRI and electrophysiology. She was recognized with the prestigious Young Investigator Award from the Cognitive Neuroscience Society in 2009.
